Company Profile
Founded in 1999, Micron Concept Group has evolved from jigs and fixture specialist into a multi-faceted engineering solutions provider. Presently, there are a total of 2 dedicated divisions. Micron Concept Aerostructures (MCA) which specializes in aerospace, process flow and robotics solutions, and Micron Concept Engineering (MCE) which offers expertise in automation and aerospace ground support tools.

Supporting our nation’s Aerospace Industry Blueprint 2030 sector is one of our core values. Micron Concept Group is a contract manufacturer of products and services to the Aerospace industries, provides extensive integrated turnkey solutions from manufacturing new build and MRO (maintenance, repair & overhaul). With vertical integrated supply model, Micron Concept has capability to provide high volume/low mix, low volume/high mix programs with collaborative surface treatment and non-destructive testing services to manufacture our customer’s product. We have other skills sets such as welding, assembly, laser cutting and bending, to go along with our core competencies of precision machining; multi-axis milling and turning.

Micron Concept Group has nearly 3 decades of experience providing comprehensive suite of services for major OEM companies supporting the Oil & Gas industry. Our capabilities allow for full turnkey management of our customers’ needs from new product development to service and repair. The vertical integration of material sourcing, precision hard and soft metal machining, welding, and electro-mechanical assembly services supported by collaborative surface treatment and non-destructive testing services allows Micron Concept Group to provide a range of critical and complete finished products that meet stringent specifications required in Oil & Gas industry. CNC Milling Machinist
Minimum Requirements:
- Certificate or Diploma in a related field
- 2 years of related experience required
- Ability to operate CNC lathe, including setting and programming
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Good team player with sound leadership and team-building skills
- Ability to work under pressure

- Improve machine setup times to reduce total machine hours
- Provide guidance and training to Machinist-Setters on machining skills
- Maintain specifications by observing drilling, grooving, cutting, and related operations; troubleshoot and adjust processes as necessary
- Participate in product realization processes and quality control
- Support departmental leads in meeting KPIs, company policies, EHS policies, and quality objectives
- Ensure effective NC control, part identification, and traceability
- Analyze and work independently on technical drawings, setups, processes, and machine operations
- Troubleshoot mechanical equipment problems and ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications
- Responsible for training, evaluating, and motivating staff
- Proactively identify process improvements to minimize incidents and reduce costs
- Report production issues to the Departmental Lead
- Other tasks as assigned by the supervisor

- Program and set up CNC machines for new products.

- Conduct first piece inspections and adjust machine controls as needed.

- Report any problems or failures to the line manager.
- Responsible for cleaning and maintenance tasks associated with CNC operations.
